Boycott France Activity
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم(إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یُؤۡذُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِی ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣰا مُّهِینࣰا)
Surely, those who annoy Allah and His Messenger are cursed by Allah in this world and in the Hereafter, and He has prepared for them a humiliating punishment. [Surah Al-Ahzab 57]
Amidst the different types of heinous acts being perpetrated by the French against our Beloved Nabi Muhammad ﷺ, I prepared this activity for my classes last week to complete in order for them to understand the importance of defending the honour of Nabi Muhammad ﷺ.

Forgiveness Activity – Sword of Nabi Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم
In our lesson on the topic of Forgiveness, we spoke of the kindness of Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم and his forgiveness even to his enemies.
We also spoke of our conduct as far as forgiving others and seeking forgiveness from others.
The activity we did to consolidate and complete our lesson was:
Learners were given a sword printable and asked to design it together with writing the profound words / quote that was on the sword of Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم.
These were then laminated and cut and now we’ve stuck them as a reminder on our desks.
Inshā Allāh, these swords will be a part of our classroom and serve as a reminder for all of us daily.

Qur’aan Bookmarkers
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Alhumdulillāh we are very fortunate to be part of such a noble profession wherein Allāh Ta’ala has granted us the opportunity to teach His noble Qur’ān.
For every letter taught and which will be recited by the learner in the future, the teacher will be rewarded.
The ability to read the Qur’an also permeates into many facets of our Deen like our Salaah and Surahs.
Every year, before commencing Sabaq for the year, I like to do a lesson on the respect of the Qur’ān, etiquettes and some virtues.
Thereafter, I hand out these bookmarkers to each learner that serves as a daily reminder for the learners.

This bookmarker/Qur’ān Shareef Marker can be printed and learners can decorate, colour and personalise also. The back portion can also be decorated with a quote of choice regarding Qur’ān and Deen. Thereafter, laminate it and use daily. 🌺
Some tips for Learning Sabaq in Class:
*The sabaq should be read 7 – 10 times in class and before coming to Madrasah.
*The sabaq could be read collectively a few times and then individually a few times.
*My personal preference is: the Sabaq is learnt / read in pairs, one student is reciting while the other corrects mistakes and vice versa.
If this is done effectively, then the next day the learner will know the Sabaq well. Inshā Allāh.
Total learning time in class should be 10-15 minutes.
May Allah make us worthy of teaching His Noble Qur’an and may He accept all our efforts. Aameen.
Beliefs of a Muslim
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
A𝐐𝐀𝐀𝐈𝐃 is one of the most important lessons in a Madrasah and in the life of a Muslim.
As teachers, we need to place importance on ensuring that these beliefs are fully understood as there are many learners that are exposed to different backgrounds.
Another important aspect is because approximately 95% of our learners attend Non-Muslim schools, they are exposed to Non-Muslim teachers and classmates and at some schools, they are taught Christian Religious education, Darwins theory and even athiesm etc.
For the lesson on “Beliefs of a Muslim”, I made a worksheet where learners had to cut out and paste the beliefs into the heart.
I laminated each heart after the learners completed the activity. They have stuck the hearts up in their homes in order to teach their families also.
I included the Arabic of each belief which is the “Imaane Mufassal”. Learners also memorized each of the beliefs together with the Arabic of each of the beliefs.
The significance of pasting them into the heart was that all these beliefs have to be found in the heart of a Muslim.♥️

Laylatul Qadr Activity
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
As we approach the last ten days of Ramadhan, I prepared an activity to complete during our online Zoom class with my learners.

The objectives of this activity are many – some of them are: teaching our learners the dua, teaching them the importance of spreading Deen and of course, scoring lots of reward by spreading the knowledge of Deen.
I’ve been meaning to post all about online classes and Zoom tutorials but it has been extremely hectic! InshaAllah hope to do so after Eid!
May Allah accept all our efforts in continuing with teaching during this time and accept all our ibadat in these blessed days. Aameen.
